For the Louvre and Musee D'Orsay, obtain the Paris Museum Pass. There are separate lines for people with the pass, and they are labeled for people with advanced tickets. Ask security to make sure you are in the right line. The pass can be the difference between waiting one hour in line versus standing in line for two minutes.
